Twickenham Jazz Club's Past Gigs

Live Jazz Sessions with Alex Garnett Quartet

“Alex Garnett has all the individuality skill and stamina every star soloist needs” – Evening Standard

We are thrilled to welcome Alex Garnett, a leading saxophonist, to the Patchworks stage. He is taking a rare evening off from his late-night residency at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club. Alex has an incredible jazz pedigree, being the son of the late and great Wille Garnett. He is also credited with being one of the UK’s busiest and most experienced instrumentalists.

Alex has performed in over 30 countries worldwide, including iconic venues such as Birdland, Blue Note, Vittoria Montreax, and Oslo Jazz festivals. He has worked with artists as diverse as Wynton Marsalis, Sir John Dankworth, Pete King, Humphrey Littleton, Van Morrison and The Rolling Stones. His musical discography is so extensive that one might wonder if there are any of our esteemed jazz intelligentsia that he has not played with!

Alex is bringing his own warmth, humour, music, and band to celebrate our last gig of 2023, as well as our club Christmas party. We hope that you can join us for what promises to be an unforgettable evening.
