Mike Guy first played for us with the amazing Maciek Pysz Quartet when we first relaunched the club after lockdown. His performance then was mesmerizing as he demonstrated the amazing versatility of his beloved accordion. Since then he has been steadily building a reputation in London’s beloved Jazz basements, bars, and festivals. A lot of his material pays homage to the world-renowned accordionist Richard Galliano.
Mike describes the band as his ‘A team’. This is their last performance before they record their first album, so the energy will be well-rehearsed and hot. But don’t worry about the summer heat – Patchworks Bar has air conditioning.
