‘Sax in the City’ Sensational Autumn Sparkle with Sarah Bolter Band

I am beyond excited to welcome this amazing band to launch our Autumn–Winter season at Twickenham Jazz Club.

Sarah Bolter is a charismatic, super-talented multi-instrumentalist who simply loves to entertain. She creates a wonderfully open-hearted atmosphere, and you’ll be amazed as she moves seamlessly from saxophone, clarinet, and flute to suddenly bursting into song. (I believe she’s also prolific on piano—but for this occasion she’s wisely invited the brilliant Gabriel Keen to take the keys… fair enough!)

Sarah is equally at home with jazz swing, Latin, funk, classics from the Great American Songbook, and songs from stage and musical theatre. She joined her first professional band at just 13, went on to earn a BA Honours degree in music, and has since recorded six critically acclaimed albums. Alongside this, she works constantly as a session musician and teacher, and has played at major jazz festivals across the UK and beyond.

She’s a great favourite at Swanage Jazz Festival, Pizza Express, and Toulouse Lautrec, and many of you have asked for her return to Twickenham Jazz Club.

Her band, Sax In The City, presents a programme of strong, rhythmic, fun-filled, melodic jazz—showcasing the incredible talents of each musician on stage.

So come along, soak up the fun, the camaraderie, and the world-class music we’re so proud to present at our special club.

It’s been a fabulous summer… but now it’s time!
