‘Sax in the City’ Sensational Summer Sparkle with Sara Bolter Band

We are thrilled to welcome Sara Bolter back to the club with her amazing band. Many of you asked to see her again as when she played for us last Summer there seemed to be no end to her talents. Sara dazzled us with her virtuosity on Tenor and Alto Saxophone, Clarinet, Flute and Vocals and added a significant, soulful sparkle with her warm and witty personality.

We are in for a great night.

As well as performing extensively with her bands, Sarah freelances and works as a session musician, pit musician and music teacher. She has performed at the Isle of Wight Jazz Festival, Montreux Jazz Festival, Jazz on The Meadow, Newport Jazz Festival, Brighton Fringe Festival, Swanage Jazz Festival, Pizza Express, Toulouse Lautrec and many more

Every member of her band is an artist and excellent musician in their own right

Joe Caleb is a stunning 7-string guitarist who has played many times at Pizza Express and travels the world performing or recording. Jo has worked with artists including, Beyonce, Brandy, Craig David, Andy McKee, Sugar Babes and Lamar and is also a platinum-selling, VMA-nominated music producer.

Nick Cooper trained at the Royal College on piano and oozes energy and enthusiasm as he plays. Nick has performed at Ronnie Scotts 100 Club and the 606 Club with musicians including Alec Dankworth, Digby Fairweather, Pete Long and Dave Green to name a few.

Killian Madden adds the icing to this quintet on drums. A rare breed of a drummer who listens and reacts, blending in beautifully. Apart from being much in demand for his drumming skills on tour and in the studio, Killian is a composer and a producer

Expect a heart-warming set of uplifting Jazz standards mixed with some Rhythmic Jazz Funk and Latin tunes.
