Twickenham Jazz Club's Past Gigs

Julian Costello Band – 06.09.2023

“Musicianship in the service of the music more than the ego” Ken Avis (US jazz Critic)

Here at Twickenham Jazz Club we are very excited to be launching our Autumn Season with the amazing charismatic saxophonist Julian Costello and the band which Julian describes as a ‘Mega Line Up of Heavyweights’.

“It is the musicians role to express the diversity of our lives and speak from the soul and few musicians do this with more eloquence and honesty.“

Julian is simply very special. He was an intrinsic part of the relaunch of Twickenham Jazz Club post lockdown and his music invites you to close your eyes and temporarily open your soul to a world without words, sense the warmth, laughter, kindness, frustrations wistfulness and challenges of life expressed by this distinctive, lyrical optimistic man and his saxophone.

His Album ‘Connections’ is internationally acclaimed and will be available at the club

We look forward to welcoming you back to what promises to be another wonderful season of Great Music, Friendship and Joy.

The Band:

Julian Costello – Saxophone
