“One of the most versatile saxophonists in the UK today”
– Dave Gelly, The Observer

I am absolutely thrilled to announce that Derek Nash, one of the busiest and most gifted saxophonists on the scene, will be playing for us at Twickenham Jazz Club!

For many, Derek needs no introduction. A true multi-instrumentalist, performer, bandleader, composer, arranger, and record producer, his accolades read like a who’s who of jazz and beyond. From the Jools Holland Orchestra to Ronnie Scott’s Blues Explosion, Eric Clapton, Amy Winehouse, Jamie Cullum, and David Sanborn, Derek’s collaborations span legends and genres.

He also runs his own incredible bands, including Sax Appeal, Picante, and Protect the Beat, each showcasing his boundless creativity and artistry.

But what truly sets Derek apart is his endearing charm, passionate musicality, and the way he connects so naturally with his audiences. It’s this magic that makes an evening with him an unforgettable joy.
